UK's Plastic Currency

Many countries already implemented Polymer or plastic currencies, now it’s UK’s turn to Introducing Plastic Currency planning from 2016.

 

The new bank notes will contain a thin and transparent & Flexible polypropylene. Bank will introduce with smaller denomination plastic currencies 5 & 10 pounds. 5 pounds will carry Winston Churchill and 10 pounds will carry Jane Austen's Image in the new plastic Currencies.
