1000 rupees commemorative coin of Brihadeeswarar temple



A 1000 rupee coin was issued by Government of India, This coin was minted by Mumbai minting and it was issued couple years back. The coin weighing 35 gm and it contains 80% percent silver and 20% copper. The denomination was spelled in Hindi and English. One side Raja Raja Chola-1 figure in a folding hand posturing with folded hands with a Brihadeeswarar temple image.

Indian Government mint, Mumbai started counter sale of commemorative coin sets of 1000 & 5 rupees as proof set and UNC coins in Mumbai counter sale.
