A 1000 rupee coin was
issued by Government of India, This coin was minted by Mumbai minting and it
was issued couple years back. The coin weighing 35 gm and it contains 80%
percent silver and 20% copper. The denomination was spelled in Hindi and
English. One side Raja Raja Chola-1 figure in a folding hand posturing with
folded hands with a Brihadeeswarar temple image.
